The Uganda International Trade Fair is an annual event that brings together thousands of people from Uganda and the entire region. For many, it’s a shopping destination; for manufacturers, it’s a vital proving ground.
2014 was the very first year we exhibited at the Trade Fair. We had a small stall and only one person manning it, showcasing just two products: UG Kamulali and Konk Banana Juice. It was a privilege to showcase our brand alongside other major manufacturers in the country—an intimidating, yet exhilarating, first step.
Special appreciation must be given to the Uganda Manufacturers Association (UMA) for this wonderful initiative. The Trade Fair is much more than an exhibition; it’s a mechanism that supports indigenous companies to grow. For a young company just starting out, a platform like this gives a critical opportunity to build confidence and to dream bigger.
This year marks our 11th consecutive year at the Trade Fair, and the contrast between then and now tells a story of persistence, belief, and the tireless support of our customers.
We are proud to announce that, unlike that first time, Newman Foods Limited this year has a stand-alone, fully branded stall as you enter the Promotion Area zone of the exhibition. This physical expansion directly reflects our growth: While only one person manned our stall in 2014, we now have over 25 people ready to serve and interact with you. Similarly, we’ve expanded our offering from just two popular products—UG Kamulali and Konk Banana Juice—to include over 15 different categories of products. This is the magnitude of the growth your unwavering support has fueled!
This expansion isn’t just a corporate milestone; it’s a direct reflection of the support and satisfaction you, our customers, have shown us.
We invite you to stop by the Newman Foods Limited stall to share in this journey with us, sample our products, and experience firsthand the incredible growth that your support has helped fuel over the years.
We can’t wait to see you there!
