True leadership isn’t just about holding a position; it’s about the courage to speak, the discipline to debate, and the drive to excel. This past week, we witnessed these qualities in abundance at the Uganda Muslim Teachers’ Association (UMTA) Super Challenge.

Hosted at Kawempe Muslim Secondary School, this event brought together students from various schools under the Muslim umbrella to engage in a rigorous battle of wits and words.

As the main sponsors of the tournament, we didn’t just see a debate; we saw the next generation of Ugandan leaders finding their voices. From the opening sessions on Sunday, 2nd May, to the grand finale, the energy was electric.

We believe that for a mind to perform at its peak, it needs the right fuel. That is why we were right there on the ground, providing our signature snacks to the students. Seeing them recharge with a pack of Newman’s between intense rounds of competition reminded us why we do what we do: we are here to power the people who will move this nation forward.

As shown in the images from the event, the joy of the winning teams as they lifted their trophies, and the bright, determined faces of all participants, is the greatest reward we could ask for. Those are the faces of the next generation of leaders.
