On Saturday, 11th April 2026, the air at St. Noa Girls’ Secondary School was filled with more than just music; it was filled with the undeniable spirit of talent, tradition, and youthful ambition. We made our way to the school to witness their Music, Dance, and Drama (MDD) Competitions, and the experience was nothing short of inspiring.
At Newman’s, our commitment goes beyond providing a premium snack; we believe deeply in women’s empowerment and the boundless potential of young people. Watching the students perform with such grace and precision reminded us why we invest in these spaces. These girls aren’t just performers. They are leaders, storytellers, and the future architects of our culture.
A celebration of this magnitude requires energy. We were proud to set up our snack hub right in the heart of the action, ensuring that every performer and supporter had the Magic of Newman’s to keep them going. From our signature Potato Crisps to the latest Chicken Flavour Maize Snack, we were there to fuel the talent that graced the stage.
The MDD competitions are a beautiful reminder of our roots. Just as these students take traditional dances and give them fresh life on stage, we at Newman’s take the traditional ingredients from the Ugandan soil and elevate them for the modern world.
To the administration and students of St. Noa Girls’, thank you for allowing us to be part of your rhythm. We remain dedicated to supporting platforms that celebrate excellence and empower the young women of Uganda to shine.
