These are some of the lyrics of the legendary musician Philly Bongole Lutaaya in his classic, Tugende e Kampala. There simply is no other way to characterize the ‘Munakampala’ as perfectly as he did many years ago.

The Kampala City Festival is an initiative by KCCA that sets out to celebrate this very spirit. This past November, we had the incredible privilege of being a partner for the festival—an event that brings together thousands to celebrate the culture, energy, and future of our capital.

Following the success of the event, we were deeply honored to receive an Appreciation Award for our role in powering the festival. The award recognizes our contribution to a shared vision: transforming Kampala into a vibrant, attractive, livable, and sustainable city.

Whether it was through providing the energy for festival-goers with our premium snacks or engaging with the community at our station, we are proud to support the initiatives that make our city thrive.
