At Newman’s, we believe in fueling ambition, and sports are of particular interest because we believe that through sports, the body is kept healthy and energy channeled to a positive in the community.  That’s why we were incredibly proud to partner with Herts Swimming Club and be part of the excitement at the recent Hertz Invitational Gala!

Held on August 2nd, 2025, at the Kampala Parents School Swimming Pool in Naguru, this meet is a cornerstone event in the Ugandan swimming calendar. It brings together the nation’s brightest young talent, often under 14 years old, to compete and prepare for larger national and international stages. This event is a powerful demonstration of the energy, discipline, and dedication that defines our youth.

Our sponsorship was rooted in a simple philosophy: high-quality, locally sourced food is the best fuel for high performance. Our Snacks provide the quick, satisfying energy needed for a swimmer between heats, for muscle recovery and sustained power throughout a grueling day of competition.

We were thrilled to connect with the talented swimmers, dedicated coaches, and passionate families who make these events possible. Seeing the smiles of the athletes as they grabbed a Newman’s snack was the perfect reminder of why we do what we do: to bring quality and energy to the people who matter most—our community.
